On Monday I rode with Debbie on a tandem bike in the vicinity of Lisse in Holland, one of the areas containing the famous tulip fields.  Spring has skipped directly into summer over here it seems, with a long streak of warm, sunny weather that normally seems scarce in these parts.  Most of the tulip fields are already finished blooming, but thankfully we were able to find a few flowers still in bloom.

I spent twelve days in South Africa in the beginning of April 2008.  I snapped this shot during a stop on a road trip from Potchefstroom to Umkomaas.  The scenery made the 8 hour trek a joy.
